We are a professional couple recently moved to Ireland from the United States in our 40s looking for a caring, responsible and experienced nanny / childcarer to care for our only child - a 6 year old daughter - in the summer months - especially July and August but open to days in June. You will be a nanny / childcarer with at least 6 years experience in nannying, child care, au pair or babysitting work. You must love playing with kids, have a good sense of humor, and be mature, reliable, trustworthy, and punctual. We are open to negotiating hours and number of days. We anticipate a mix of summer camps and child minding to support our daughter and depending on your level of committment interest, we may do both at times where you'd be responsible for taking her to camps via public transport. We are a non-smoking household and require a non-smoker. Your responsibilities will include: Coming up with games, crafts, and activities to stimulate a cheerful 6 year old. Coordinating with existing friend groups for local playdates at the park/etc. Some cleaning and general housekeeping, including lunch meal prep. Potential transport on the bus/Luas to summer camp activities such as swimming. You will need a current First Aid certificate, Garda Vetting, and a driver’s licence. A Certificate in Child Care will also be highly regarded.
