About Suellen
Hello families, My name is Suellen and I am an experienced and caring childminder based in Dublin. I am also a mother to a lovely 3-year-old boy, which has given me even more patience, responsibility and understanding when caring for children. I have been working with children since 2019 in Brazil, Chile and Ireland. I worked as an au pair in Chile caring for an 8-month-old baby for 6 months. In Ireland, I worked as a childminder for an Irish family for 2 years looking after three children (a boy aged 4 and two girls aged 8 and 12). My responsibilities included school pick-ups, preparing dinner, helping with homework and organizing fun activities such as cycling, painting, drawing, arts and crafts and board games. I also worked for another family in Rathmines, taking care of two boys aged 4 and 6. They also had a younger brother aged 3 who attended crèche, but I would look after him as well whenever needed. I have Tusla First training and Garda Vetting, and I always aim to create a safe, warm and supportive environment for children. I enjoy doing creative activities with them and helping with homework and learning. I also recently got my driving licence and I have my own car.
