About Lauren
Hi there! I'm Lauren a teacher in training, studying at Trinity and "working" at a girls secondary school in South County Dublin. I have a number of years experience teaching children and teenagers both in Ireland and abroad and I have worked in summer camps and language schools with children, notably Monkstown Lifesaving Club where I have volunteered as a swimming and lifesaving instructor since 2018 with children as young as 5 years old. I also have a number of years of childcare experience both in Ireland and abroad with children aged between 18 months and 8 years old. I am garda vetted and trained in first aid. I'm currently looking for childminding work on some weekly afternoons and also on weekends. When minding children I normally try to engage in activities with them like, creative play, baking or art and when the weather is right a trip to the playground is always a good way to spend the afternoon!
