About Claire
My interest in special needs work and working with children with disabilities has developed over the years, specifically through work where I have been able to see at first hand the skills required. Over the past three years working as a Special Needs Assistant, I have acquired skills and experience required to support the class teacher and individual students, school bus monitor, mobility assistance. I have also attained skills supporting the students with activities between lessons including personal care and mealtimes. At present I am currently working towards a Major Award Early Childhood Care and Education My ability to work under pressure has been illustrated by my handling of the requirement to study and to juggle domestic responsibilities efficiently I have shown myself to be capable of organising my time effectively and using my initiative. I have a huge passion for working with children of all ages. I am dedicated to my job and very determined and flexible and put 100% into everything I do.
