My name is Funny Ghent, 31 years old. Iam a Registered Nurse Midwife. I persue my degree in Nursing at kamuzu University of Health sciences in Malawi, Africa. As a Nurse I have over 7 years of work experience in hospitals, communities and Home based care. As a Nurse I play alot of roles and responsibilities, these are; Communication and comprehensive assessment was the critical key at the beginning of patients care. In additional to that priorization of needs, bed bathing, wound care, colostomy care and feeding are some of the skills that I was experiencing during my practice. It might seem to be hard to take care of sick people in Nursing homes or in their homes, but care is a calling, hence I have experience in providing compassionate care, respect to patients dignity, mataining confidentiality and privacy, love and kindness, spiritual care as well as canceling and reassuring patients. In clinical or community and nursing homes, conflict can occur between staffs, or patient and staff. I have skills I'm managing conflict for example compromising and avoiding. Finally I have experience and skills in managing wastes. This helps in infection prevention control. I would love to be your next elderly care.
