About Kate
My name is Kate and I am a twenty three year old living in Malahide. I have experience working in an afterschool club for two years and spent time doing placement in both a crèche and montessori. I spent a lot of my teenage years babysitting for family friends and neighbours - including toddlers and young children and now have three young nieces that I help care for once a week. I have discovered a love for working with children over the last few years and I am extremely passionate about being a positive and encouraging influence in their lives. I am interested in working for a family on a one to one basis because I find my strengths lie in forming a strong bond with children and their parents, and I think I would be well suited to caring for a family of children full time. I enjoy planning activities such as arts and crafts or physical games, I like to get involved and really enjoy the activities with the children I work with. My main goal would be to provide a fun and safe environment for them to grow and learn, while in the comfort of their own home or local community.
