Hello! My name is Laura, I’m Brazilian and I have several years of experience working closely with children and families, both in Brazil and in Ireland. I have cared for babies from 2 months old through to children up to 13 years of age, supporting them through different stages of development. My experience includes working with families in Ireland, where I’ve been responsible for daily routines, emotional support and creating a safe, nurturing environment tailored to each child’s individual needs. I have hands-on experience caring for babies from a few months old through to older children, including helping with daily routines, playtime, meals, bedtime and overnight care. I am calm, responsible and attentive, and I always strive to create a safe, warm and respectful environment where children feel comfortable, heard and supported. Alongside my practical experience, I have academic exposure to the health and human sciences field, which has helped shape my sensitivity to emotional needs, behaviour and individual differences. I strongly believe that every child is unique and deserves care that is patient, empathetic and adapted to their personality and stage of development. I am comfortable preparing simple, healthy meals, assisting with light childcare-related tasks and following family routines closely.
