Hi, I’m Megan! I’m 26 years old and currently working towards a bachelor’s in psychology, with a passion for supporting children and young people with intellectual disabilities and autism. My goal is to help them build confidence, independence, and positive behaviours in a safe and fun environment. I have years of experience babysitting for multiple families and currently work as a Direct Support Worker at Sánas Respite Service. There, I assist children and young adults (aged 5-17) with their everyday needs while creating opportunities for socialising and personal growth. My background in crisis support and community reinforcement has shaped my approach to care, and I always bring patience, understanding, and encouragement to every interaction. I’m known for being neat, bubbly, and highly organised, making sure that every child I support has a structured and positive experience. Whether it’s providing academic support, behavioural guidance, or simply creating a space where kids can be themselves, I’m here to help.
