About Defne
Hello there! My name is Defne and I’m a second-year Biology student at Trinity. I’m originally from Istanbul and have a dog back home that I miss so much! Since moving to Dublin, I’ve realised how much I miss having a furry friend around. I’ve always had pets growing up — our home was never without a dog. I was usually the one in charge of taking them for walks, giving them baths, and making sure they were spoiled with love and attention. Over the years, I’ve had a Labrador Retriever, a Jack Russell, a Golden Retriever, and now I have a Cavalier King Charles back home. Each of them had such different personalities, and I loved learning how to care for each one in their own way. As someone who’s always been passionate about animals (I mean, I’m studying Biology for a reason!), I thought the best way to make life in this expensive city a bit brighter would be to help out kind people by taking care of their dogs like they’re my own. I’d love to keep your furry friends company, take them on walks, and get to know their personalities. Hope to meet you soon!
