About Esther Vela
I come from a big family of eight and, as the eldest, I’ve grown up helping to care for my younger siblings. Being the oldest has taught me responsibility, patience, and how to love unconditionally. My natural experience at home has developed into a genuine passion for caring for children of all ages. I regularly volunteer at Barretstown, a camp for children with serious illnesses and additional needs, where I support kids through creative activities, games, and daily routines. I was also a Sunday school teacher for children aged 3 to 12, where I taught stories, songs, and helped create a fun, safe, and supportive environment. From changing nappies, helping with homework, and school drop-offs, to keeping children entertained, engaged, and cared for, I’m confident and comfortable with all aspects of childcare. I bring kindness, reliability, and enthusiasm to every family I work with.
