About Emma
Hi, I’m Emma. I’m a qualified Mental Health Nurse with over 12 years experience working within the HSE and mainly with older adults. I also have experience working as a health care assistant in a nursing home and hospitals before qualifying as a mental health nurse. I have a strong interest in holistic health and dementia care, and I also spent two years working as a Dementia Adviser with The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, supporting individuals and families in the community. I really love working with and supporting older people, bringing patience, empathy and a calm, person-centred approach to everything I do. I’m currently travelling but will be back in Ireland in mid-December and available for work from January. Outside of care work, some other interests and passions are photography, cycling, animals, hiking/walking, writing and travelling.
