Warm and reliable, good „listener” with gentle but strong soul live-in carer with 10+ years’ experience running a guesthouse Hello, my name is Ludmila I am a 50-year-old Polish woman, fluent in English, with many years of experience in caring for people and running a household. I have a gentle nature and a strong sense of empathy, I like listening to people's stories and tell them my story too. I believe everyone deserves and needs to be seen and heard. For over 10 years I owned and managed a small guesthouse with full board. I was responsible for cooking daily meals, cleaning, laundry, shopping and making sure that every guest felt welcome, safe and comfortable. I cook healthy, tasty food, including vegetarian and gluten-free meals, and I am very organised in the kitchen and around the house. I am calm, patient and friendly. I enjoy listening, talking, reading together, going for short walks (if possible) and simply being good company. I am happy to help with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting), medication reminders, appointments and everyday routines. I take time to understand each person’s preferences and dignity is very important to me. Before running my guesthouse, I spent about 15 years teaching English and leading creative art and theatre workshops. This has given me a lot of experience in building warm relationships, encouraging people and keeping them mentally active and engaged. I can help with: Live-in care and companionship Cooking fresh, healthy meals (including vegetarian / gluten-free) Housekeeping: cleaning, laundry, ironing, organising the home Shopping, errands, planning daily routines Personal care and hygiene (with respect and sensitivity) Conversation, reading, board games, light activities and emotional support What I am looking for: I am currently looking for short-term live-in positions in Ireland (approx. 4–8 weeks) as an elderly carer / home help.
