About Faith

Dear host family I hope this message finds you well! My name is Faith, I’m 26 years old, and I’m originally from South Africa. I’m currently an au pair in Denmark—and I’m truly having the time of my life. Before Denmark, I spent a wonderful year as an au pair in the Netherlands. I would describe myself as energetic, outgoing, and adventurous. I love being outdoors, exploring new places, and sharing joyful experiences with friends. I even like to call myself an adrenaline junkie because I’m always up for something exciting! So, why would I make a great au pair for your family? I have a solid background in childcare and a natural ability to connect with children. Before my au pair journey, I worked as a tutor and regularly babysat children in my neighborhood, as well as my own nieces and nephews. In the Netherlands, I cared for two amazing children, Tommy and Liv. When I arrived, they didn’t speak any English—but now they’re pretty good! I’m so proud to have played a role in their development, both emotionally and linguistically. Here in Denmark, I care for two sweet boys, Ferdinand (2) and Theodore (4). They are absolutely precious, and I’ve truly loved becoming part of their everyday lives. What I enjoy most about being an au pair is building that “big sister” bond with the children, helping them grow, and being a part of a loving family environment.
