About Fiona
Hi! I’m Fiona, a warm, energetic, and dependable babysitter based in Dublin City. I have over 10 years’ experience caring for children of all ages, from babies and toddlers to school-aged children. I began working with children at 14, supporting my mum in her naíonra (preschool), where I developed a strong foundation in child development, play-based learning, and creating safe, nurturing environments. Over the years, I’ve babysat for many families and have extensive hands-on childcare experience in both home and early-years settings. I am fully Garda vetted and currently volunteer weekly as a play volunteer with Children in Hospital Ireland, supporting children and families in hospital settings. I also recently supported my mum through a Level 6 qualification in Diversity and Inclusion in Childcare, facilitated by Mary Immaculate College, further strengthening my understanding of inclusive, child-centred care. I work full time in Learning and Development with the HSE and am currently seeking evening or weekend babysitting. I’m known for being kind, caring, and high-energy, while also calm, responsible, and attentive to each child’s individual needs. My goal is always to ensure children feel safe, happy, and comfortable in my care.
