About Josefin
Experienced childminder available in my own home or yours anywhere close to Chapelizod-Lucan areas. I have over 10 years experience working with children with special needs, and 5 years’ experience as a childminder, both in my own home and in families’ homes. I use a gentle, child led approach, focusing on understanding each child’s individual needs and supporting them with calm, respectful care. Originally from Sweden and raised in the countryside, I enjoy planning outdoor activities and believe in the Scandinavian approach to outdoor play. I am a parent myself and have a 5½ year old child who attends a Gaelscoil in Lucan. I live in Chapelizod, have my own car, and do daily school runs, so I am available for school drop offs and collections, after school care, homework support, activity runs in the Lucan and Chapelizod areas. I also offer art activities especially for rainy days. I also have a background working with horses, in the social care field, and am currently self employed as an artist. My child is with me most days except Thursdays and brings a lot of joy and playfulness. With agreement, your child or children are welcome to join us for activities.
