About Elisha
My name is Elisha Smith. I am a fully qualified primary school teacher who studied in Dublin City University. I am currently in my first year of teaching in a school in Finglas, where I teach 3rd class. I have a natural ability to connect with children, which comes from growing up as one of the eldest in my extended family and often taking on a caring and supportive role. I am particularly passionate about supporting children with additional needs, drawing on both my teaching experience in specialised settings and my personal experience of growing up with close family members with additional needs. I am a creative and musical person, and I bring this into my teaching to make learning engaging and enjoyable for all pupils. I am dedicated and hardworking, always giving 100% to support the children in my class, whether that be in their academic progress or their social and emotional development.
