About Margaret

Hi everyone, my name is Margaret. I am a fully qualified childminder with 30 years experience Childminding in my home. I have fetac level 5 childcare. I have extensive experience in a crèche/ playschool. I have completed fetac level 5 Maternity Care Assistant in the Liberties College and I have worked in the Rotunda hospital with expectant mothers and newborn babies. I can also offer overnight to those who need a maternity nurse to feed and help get baby into a proper routine. I have Garda Clearance, I'm a non smoker, I hold a full clean Irish driver's licence over 30 years. I have first aid certificate, manual handling certificate. I am qualified to work with newborn babies, children, care of the older person. I have worked in a private homecare setting where I was a carer to 6 clients over the course of 2 years. I am recently garda vetted 2019. I have currently updated manual handling 2019. I am a qualified carer of the older person and I have recently completed a course on infection control, care plans , emergency procedures, elder abuse, medication management, food hygiene & skin integrity. Also children’s first . I’m a qualified phlebotomist. I provide all food and drinks and snacks and I make nutritious meals . We have structured play here and free play and your child will be safe and warm in a loving home environment and learn through play.
