About Katalin
Experienced, energetic, caring, friendly and fun loving. I fully enjoy working as a childminder and I think kids like me too. I studied PE and was a swimming instructor for years. As a childminder I worked for numerous families and minded kids from various age groups (toddlers to teenagers). My preference is to start minding kids from preschool age and spend a few years with the same family. Our time together with the kids would be mainly fun: PLAY, PLAY and some more PLAY! We can spend time outdoors, go to a park, play ball games or enjoy a playground. At home,we can read books, play creative games, bake, sing along or do seasonal art and crafts. We can also do some library visits together or learn some tunes on tin whistle and recorder (or piano). The most important is my attitude though, my honestly interested attention to the child(ren) which gives them emotional security and safe, happy time together. Besides the fun, for older kids, I can supervise their homework too. For the parents, I can offer some light housework, laundry, dinner preparation… etc. I am absolutely open to discuss your specific circumstances with you and adapt my work to your family needs. I have experience driving in Ireland and I am confident to drive kids safely if a family car is available.
