UPDATED: We are looking for a childminder in Rathfarnham to look after our two children. It would be five days a week from 2.45- 5.45pm. The duties would include collecting my daughter from school and walking or getting the bus home, collecting my son from montesorri, preparing snacks and dinner, helping with homework at times, playing with children. I am looking for someone energetic, playful with children who has experience. Must have references. Preference to those with drivers license and has own car.

We are a friendly, professional couple looking for a caring, kind and responsible nanny to care for our three lovely girls aged 9, 7 and 4. The daytime routine would include school and Montessori collections (both just a short walk away), helping with homework and reading, supporting their after school activities, keeping them active and engaged, preparing simple meals for the children, and doing light laundry and housework related to them. Monday – Friday 12pm to 6pm but could discuss some flexibility on working week. We are looking for someone who can build a caring and positive relationship with our children, and who can engage with them in a supportive and warm manner. The ideal candidate will be energetic, friendly, and dependable, with a genuine interest in working with our family on a long term basis. Previous experience in childcare or nannying — preferably with school age children — is required. A full driving licence and access to a car would be an advantage, though not essential. I'm Ed and Josephine, my wife for the past 50+ years, has stage 5 Parkinson, which means she has dementia as well, but only mild. She has almost 24/7 care per week. We have converted part of our house into a studio with its own Bedroom, bathroom, Kitchen and lounge. This accommodation is provided rent free. From time to time, gaps arise in her care. These gaps can be 2, 3 or 4 hours long or even overnight from 9PM to 8AM. If interested, please get back. Ed

Hi. We're a busy family with two primary school boys to mind. One of our boys is autistic, so Special Needs experience would be extremely helpful here. As well as preparing meals and minding the boys, we would also need a bit of cleaning and housework done over the course of the week. The boys are great fun, eat well, and love to get out doing activities. Offering lovely spacious accomodation for entire week including all bills in exchange for care for two elderly people from 8pm Saturday til 7am Monday morning. (The lady is bed bound and has HSE doing all changes and hoisting during the daytime but needs change of pad at 130am on Sunday and Monday morning) Duty on the Sunday from 8 to 10am and 2 to 8pm as there are 7 hours of HSE hours throughout Sunday. Dutys include giving meds in morning and afternoon. Dinner at 5pm and helping one of elderly couple to the bathroom if necessary. Accomodation in a lovely spacious house, gorgeous garden, all mod cons including bills for electricity, wifi, and waste collection. Ideally would suit a person who works mid week only. Double room in spacious house in prime Foxrock location of Dublin 18. References required. Experience with Dementia preferred. This is mainly a swap of accomodation for care.
