We are a professional couple based in Terenure in Dublin seeking a nanny/childminder in mid/late October for our son who will be 8 months.
We are looking for someone kind, experienced and reliable who loves to work with babies and will focus on their play and development. The ideal person would have experience working with babies of a similar age and have glowing references from previous families.
We will require someone with availability from approximately 8.30am until 5.30pm Monday to Friday with flexibility to account for earlier/later finishes if needed.
We also require that the person is a non smoker, Garda vetted, has First Aid certification and excellent references. A Childcare certification would also be valued.
We would also like that the person is happy to be out and about during the to bring our son for walks etc and to go to some activities if necessary. We would also like that the person can perform light housework including preparing meals for our son.
Nanny Vacancy – Part-Time (3 Days a Week)
We are a warm and friendly family looking for a reliable, caring, and experienced nanny to join us in caring for our three children (ages 5, 3, and 9 months).
📅 Days & Hours:
• Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Occasional evening and weekend work may be available
Role Responsibilities:
• Primary care for our 9-month-old baby during the day
• School collection for our 5-year-old
• Preparing light meals and snacks for the children
• Organising engaging activities and outings (e.g., trips to the park)
• Keeping children’s play areas and living spaces tidy and organised
Requirements:
• Full driving licence (car is a bonus but not essential)
• Comfortable around dogs (we have two small, friendly family dogs)
• Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
• Previous childcare experience preferred
