Part-time Mon-Wed childminder position to start March 2026, in Malahide, for 2 children, ages 3 and 1.5. Dropoff and pickup required for eldest child attending montessori in morning, which is walking distance from our home. Childcare qualification/experience required. Will require garda vetting, first aid and references. Hours will be approx 7.30-18.00, Monday-Wednesday. From July, this will change to Tuesday-Thursday, with occasional Mondays. We are a friendly, easy-going family, and we are ideally looking for someone who will be able to work with us on a long-term basis.
Looking for a kind, FUN and reliable child minder to support our 9-year-old daughter. Our daughter is active, outdoorsy and horse-mad, so someone who enjoys getting involved in horse riding and outdoor activities would be a great fit. Key details: €15 per hour, start ASAP. Term-time is approximately 20–25 hours per week, with 2–3 mornings per week and 4 afternoons per week (school finishing around 3–4pm). During school holidays, full-time cover is required. Plus one Saturday per month. A live-in option is available. The role includes school pick-ups and driving to activities, after-school activities such as pony care, swimming, dog walking and trips to the mountains, homework support and music practice, snack preparation, and walking and caring for our two dogs. Essential requirements include being a confident, experienced driver with regular driving in Dublin, being very comfortable with dogs and horses, being kind, patient, energetic and dependable, and being happy working with an active, outdoors-loving child. Ideal person would collect from school 4 days per week (drivers licence required with full use of family car). We are looking for minimum hours of 2-6pm Monday - Thursday during school term. Ideal candidate would have ability to work 9-6pm during school holidays but not a requirement. More hours available if of interest. Flexibility for the right person. We are a busy but laidback family looking for a caring, responsible and warm person to look after our 3 children (a 4 year old girl, 8 and 11 year old boys) in the Clontarf/Marino area from start of September. The children are all in school and both parents work full time. We are looking for someone either part-time (20-25 hours per week in the afternoon) or full-time (35 hours) for those who like to take on more of a housekeeping role while the children are in school. The job involves picking up from school at 1.10 every day and looking after them until 5.30/6 (If you prefer less hours and to have Friday off, we could probably accommodate). In addition to looking after the children in the afternoon, the role would involve some child related housekeeping ( laundry, cleaning ay areas, sometimes cooking dinner). We are looking for someone fun, organised, and reliable. Full EU driving licence is preferable, Garda vetting and excellent references are essential.
