I am looking for a kind, reliable childminder to look after my 10 month old child on a part or full time basis Monday to Friday.
Ideally somebody who has significant relevant experience or a childcare qualification, who is energetic and enthusiastic about children’s development and can help out with light housekeeping.
Nanny / Childminder Wanted – Dun Laoghaire (Starting April 2026)
We are seeking a gentle, dependable, and experienced caregiver to join our family. We require full-time dedicated care for our 10-month-old in our home, beginning officially on April 1st, with a few hours per week starting in March to allow for a smooth transition and settling-in period.
We are a warm and open family with our bundle of joy. He is very social, active and likes interaction and attention, yet also likes independent play.
The Role
* Primary Focus: Providing attentive, full-time care centered on our son's daily sleep and feeding routines.
* * Light Household Help: Willing to assist with light household tasks, such as his laundry or maintaining a tidy environment.
* Montessori Integration: We value a Montessori-based approach to development, focusing on fostering independence, respect, and natural curiosity.
* Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm.
* Flexibility: Occasional flexibility is appreciated for days when work runs late or one parent is traveling for business.
* Duration: One-year.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Vetting: Must have current, up-to-date Garda Vetting.
* Registration: Preference will be given to Tusla-registered candidates.
* Experience: Proven experience caring for infants/toddlers in a professional or home setting, with the ability to provide excellent references.
