I have 5 years experience as a Carer and love my job. My passion is to help the vulnerable with activities of daily living such as; personal care, mobilising companionship and more. Also to encourage them to do things themselves again.
Hi! I'm Laura and I'm an early years teacher(nfq 6) since 2015 and also Montessori Assistant from birth to 6 years old.
I like to respect children's background and development, because each one has its own, every child is one of a kind.
I will always encourage children to be independent and resilient, as they are skills for life.
I really like to make a connection between children and nature, so playing outdoors or sensory games are activities I really like.
I'm into music, photography, yoga and arts, and I feel very comfortable with pets, so I like to go for walks outdoors.
I'm also very creative and energetic.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Kind regards,
Laura.

I offer a friendly, reliable, and detail-focused cleaning service to help make your home shine. I believe a clean home brings peace of mind, so I put care and attention into every job — whether it’s regular cleaning, a deep refresh, or a one-off tidy before a special occasion.
Every home is unique, and I’m happy to tailor my service to suit your needs and routine. My aim is simple: to make your life easier, give you more time to enjoy the things you love, and leave your home fresh, welcoming, and spotless.
I am a 54-year-old, calm, patient, and caring person who genuinely enjoys helping others, especially elderly people. I am reliable, adaptable, and bring a strong work ethic to everything I do. I also hold a full driver’s licence, which allows me to assist with errands and accompany clients when needed.
I have studied psychology, which helps me better understand people’s needs and behaviour, especially in situations that require patience and emotional support. I also studied political science, so I am comfortable having conversations about current events if my client enjoys this.
I am currently working in a role that involves constant communication and intensive use of my voice. Unfortunately, this has had a negative impact on my vocal cords. For this reason, I am now looking for a position where I can continue supporting others in a way that is more suitable for my health.
I also have personal experience caring for an elderly family member – I looked after my mother-in-law for several years when she had Alzheimer’s. This experience taught me patience, empathy, and how to provide care that is both practical and emotional, always tailored to the individual’s needs.
In my previous roles, I carried out daily household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and managing waste, always ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. I am very mindful of health and safety, well organised, and able to complete tasks efficiently.
I am a quick learner and adapt easily to new routines. I can work independently and am known for being responsible and trustworthy. My interpersonal skills help me build positive and respectful relationships with the people I care for. My English is not fluent, but it is sufficient for everyday communication and providing companionship.
I am highly motivated to make a positive difference – not only by helping with daily tasks, but also by offering support, companionship, and creating a calm and comfortable environment. I can provide references from previous employers and families I have worked with.
