Dear Host Family, My name is Marcela, I’m from Brazil and I am currently preparing for an exciting new chapter of my life in Ireland. I am a mother to a wonderful 17-year-old boy, a passionate educator, and a psychopedagogue with over 13 years of experience working with neurodivergent children. My journey with special education began very early in life, inspired by my younger sister who was born with Prader-Willi Syndrome. From that personal experience, I found my life’s purpose: supporting and educating children with different learning needs. In Brazil, I founded and ran a learning center dedicated to the education and development of neurodivergent children [removed] the years, I have developed a specialized teaching technique for children with ADHD, which has brought excellent results and is currently recommended by several prestigious schools in the capital where I live. Supporting children in their learning and emotional development is something I do with deep care, commitment, and joy. I'm living in Ireland to improve my English and to develop an inclusive education project in partnership with Tiago Mascarenhas, CEO of SEDA College [removed] SEDA College is a well-known English language school in Ireland, and I’m truly excited to be part of a meaningful educational initiative while continuing to grow personally and professionally in a new culture. I am a warm, patient, and responsible person who truly enjoys spending time with children and teenagers. I will be attending English classes from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm. Outside these hours, I am fully available to support your family — including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
