I am a secondary school teacher currently looking for evening work. I have experience working with children through a range of kids’ camps and after-school clubs, including Kandoo in Malahide.
I also have extensive babysitting experience, both through various paid roles in my local area and many years of (compulsory!) older-sister babysitting for my two younger sisters. In addition, I completed a 12-week college placement at First Steps Academy in Belmayne.
In my free time, I enjoy walking on the beach and reading, particularly classic literature. I am based in Balgriffin and, while I currently do not drive, I am more than happy to commute.

Dear Family,
My name is Jessica, I’m 29 years old and I’ve been living in Dublin for the past 7 years. I speak both Spanish and English fluently, and I’m a qualified childminder with over 7 years of experience caring for children of all ages — from 6-month-old babies to kids up to 12 years old.
Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with amazing families, building a strong reputation as a reliable, caring, and responsible minder. I’ve supported parents not only with regular childcare but also during special occasions like birthday parties, family events, and summer holidays. I always aim to create a warm, fun, and safe space where children feel happy, comfortable, and well looked after. My goal is for parents to enjoy peace of mind, knowing their little ones are in good hands.
In addition to childcare, I’m passionate about cooking. I’ve worked in cafés, restaurants, and catering here in Ireland, and I once had the wonderful opportunity to work in a kitchen in Tuscany, Italy — an experience that helped me grow even more in the kitchen. I enjoy preparing healthy, homemade meals for kids, and I always keep things clean, tidy, and well-organized.
I also love connecting with other childminders in the area to organize playdates and group activities — I think it’s great for the kids to make friends in the neighbourhood and enjoy fun, social experiences together.
I would love the opportunity to meet your family and see if we’d be a good match. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Warm regards,
Jessica
Caring for others has always come naturally to me. With over five years of experience as a Healthcare Assistant in both nursing homes and private home care, I’ve had the privilege of supporting older adults with compassion, patience, and professionalism.
What sets me apart is my academic background in Biomedical Science, which gives me a deeper understanding of age-related health conditions and allows me to deliver care that is not only empathetic but also informed and attentive. I’m highly experienced in personal care, mobility support, medication prompting, and providing meaningful companionship.
Families I’ve worked with often describe me as calm, respectful, and reliable, someone they can fully trust to care for them or their loved ones with dignity and kindness.
If you're looking for a dedicated carer who brings both knowledge and heart to their work, I’d love to connect with you.
