Hi, I'm Mark. I'm Irish and living in Bray and have over 7 years experience of being a carer and where four years included being primary carer for my father. I have worked for Bluebird Care in Dun Laoghaire (2021) and also recently completed 15 months of private fulltime care for a gentleman with dementia. I have cared for clients with mobility issues, learning difficulties, incontinence and a spectrum of medical issues. Within these roles my experience included getting clients up in the morning, washed, dressed and prepared breakfast along with administering medication. Also included was general companionship where I would take the clients out for social trips or on errands etc. I would also settle the clients for the evening in preparing meal followed by bedtime routine. All of this I carry out with the utmost care and compassion as I feel this is the most important part of my role. I am very flexible in the hours I can cover. References are available.
