Hi I am looking for someone to look after my 2 boys who both have autism aged 15year and nearly 12 years of age. They both get home from school around 3.30 and looking for them to be minded until 5.30 when my husband finishes work. I am also looking for them to be minded on school holidays for a longer period of the day which can be arranged to work for us both. I work shift work 2 days a week and my days vary from week to week but I generally have my duty a few weeks in advance.

Our son is a bright and engaging young person with additional needs who requires 1:1 support with daily living tasks, social activities, and general supervision. He has a great sense of humour and a strong personality, and he can sometimes display behaviours that require a calm, confident, and consistent approach. The ideal candidate will be someone who is patient, energetic, and confident working with teenagers with special needs and who won't be thrown by the occasional challenging behaviours.
