I think I'm good with kids because I find it easy to put myself in their shoes and view the world through their eyes. The most important thing in my opinion is to treat children with respect and love, just like everyone else around you. I take safety seriously, as well as having fun and finding humor in stressful situations. I like doing arts and crafts with kids, dancing, writing/telling stories etc., but I'm also happy to let the kids lead the way in play and I would just come up with some ideas here and there. Usually, when I start with a new family I like to see their routine and kind of integrate into it. I can take initiative when it's needed and see what needs to be done, but I'm also good at following directions.
